I am Partner (Non-member) based in the family department of Morecrofts LLP.
I qualified as a Solicitor in July 2009 and I joined Morecrofts LLP in August 2014. I became a Partner (Non-member) of the firm in 2024 . I have been an accredited member of the Law Society’s Children Law Panel since 2015
I specialise predominantly in children act disputes, both public and private law and multi-party proceedings, including complex child care issues.
I represent parents, children and prospective special guardians in public and private law proceedings involving physical, emotional and sexual abuse, drug, alcohol and mental health issues. I have also represented parents in proceedings involving the complex international element of relocation and long term placement out of the jurisdiction.
I have represented clients in the reported cases of E (Through Her Children’s Guardian) & Anor v A Mother & Anor [2019] EWCA Civ 1557 and Re C (Revocation of Placement Orders) [2020] EWCA Civ 1598 in the Court of Appeal.
