I started my career as a family clerk for Helen Broughton when the firm was Morecroft Urquhart.
I went on to qualify as a Legal Executive and then subsequently qualified as a Solicitor in 2004. I studied at Liverpool John Moore’s University
I have worked for Canter Levin and Berg Solicitors, Lees Solicitors and Cobley’s Solicitors returning to Morecrofts Solicitors in January 2011.
Throughout my career I have worked in all areas of family law including Divorce, high net worth financial matters, children and adoption but I now specialise in the area of Children Law, which includes public law children cases, private law cases, special guardianship matters and adoption.
I do a great deal of work for Children’s Guardians and spend a lot of time in court as an advocate in Children matters.
I am an accredited Children Panel Specialist, an accredited Resolution Specialist.
I work closely with Liverpool University mentoring Law Students and supporting their law clinic.
I set and mark exams for Resolution accreditation.
I am married have two children, 2 dogs and love walking, crochet and singing!
