Alex Mitchell

I am a senior associate solicitor in the Private Client team based in our Crosby office.

I can help people create Wills to ensure their wishes are followed after they pass, and assist with and or creating Lasting Powers of Attorney (LPAs) to manage property, financial, or health matters if they become unable to make decisions themselves. I support families in administering Estates, whether in line with a Will or when no valid Will exists. I can also advise on trusts, probate matters, inheritance tax, and the duties of executors and trustees to reduce personal liability.

I have extensive experience of acting professionally in the capacity as a court appointed deputy, attorney, executor and trustee in respect of many matters. I have previously acted as a trustee for a charity and for personal injury trusts with high value funds.

Admitted to the Roll in 2005, it brings me great satisfaction when I can deliver the best possible outcome for clients. It feels good to help and support people, especially when they may be going through a very difficult time due to bereavement/illness. I like to cultivate good relationships with clients so that they feel confident that they can rely upon me to provide a quality and dependable service.

In addition to my legal work, I am an avid Liverpool FC fan and regularly attend games when I get the chance. I am also a longsuffering fan of my hometown rugby league team, Warrington Wolves. I enjoy keeping fit and participate in endurance bike rides for charity, one example being a 400+ mile journey from Cardiff to Newcastle. When I’m not watching sport or walking my dogs, I can usually be found in the gym.
