What is company formation?

Company formation is the legal process of registering your business as a limited company, creating a distinct legal entity separate from its owners. By forming a company, you gain the benefits of limited liability, meaning that your personal assets are protected, and should the business fail you will only lose  the amount you have invested.

This structure is ideal if you want to attract investment  and enhance your credibility with clients and suppliers.

The process begins with choosing a company name, which must be unique and meet UK naming regulations, and identifying key details like the registered office address, directors, and shareholders. We also need to prepare essential documents, such as the  Articles of Association, which outline the company’s purpose, governance structure, and how it will operate. Once these details are confirmed, we submit the application to Companies House, where your company will be officially incorporated.

After registration, we can assist you with post-incorporation matters, such as setting up maintaining statutory compliance.
