Increasing protection against sexual harassment at work
It has been reported that a student who was employed by JD Sports has settled a sexual harassment claim against the company for £65,000. JD Sports, in settling the case, acknowledged that the employee had suffered significant upset and offered her an apology in addition to the monetary settlement.

Case study: Cyclist hit by car – successful £7,500 settlement
Our client, a cyclist, was struck by a car that failed to stop at the scene of the accident. The cyclist fell heavily onto his right side and was assisted by a passing motorist. Our client was transported to the hospital by ambulance, where X-rays and ultrasounds confirmed injuries to his right side.
