Rebecca Lacey

I am a Chartered Legal Executive based in the family law department, in the Allerton Road Office.

I joined Morecrofts in June 2017 as a paralegal and since graduating from Cilex Law School I now deal with both private and public law children matters to include; Care Proceedings, Child Arrangements and Special Guardianship Proceedings. I also provide advice and help to secure Non Molestation Orders.

A large proportion of my work includes acting for parents who have local authority involvement with their children for example; if social services have raised child protection concerns or pre-proceedings/care proceedings have been initiated. I provide all of my clients in this instance with a compassionate approach and I take pride in helping my clients access the correct support they need to reach their full potential as parents, alongside guiding them through the legal process.

Furthermore, I am very confident in securing legal aid for private family law proceedings i.e. child arrangement proceedings and I welcome anybody to contact me in relation to this so that I can discuss how we can secure funding for you. I am passionate about getting the best outcome for my client’s in relation to whom a child should live with/who they should spend time with and what contact arrangements should look like, to best suit your family.

I have many years of experience working with clients who are going through very difficult and personal times, I am a very empathetic provide a supportive approach to those at their most vulnerable.  

Outside of work I enjoy being at home with my two children, if I’m not at home I like going out for a walk and getting food/coffee.
