I am a senior associate solicitor heading up the Court of Protection Team based at our Crosby Office. I qualified in 2006.
I specialise in all areas of Private Client work including the preparation of Wills, Lasting Powers of Attorney – property and affairs and health and welfare, estate planning, tax planning, probate and all elderly client work
I have extensive experience working as a Professional Attorney or Deputy for clients, I deal with all matters on their behalf from dealing with their investments and properties, making sure they are receiving all the benefits, to rehousing their cats!
I help my clients put their affairs in order from deciding where their assets will go when they die to who would help them manage their money if they were no longer able to do so themselves.
I can help families make an application to the Court of Protection to appointed a Deputy for a family member who has lost the capacity to manage their money and where there is no one with authority to access their assets on their behalf.
We can also be the attorney or Deputy for a person if there is no suitable family member available.
Clients come to see me for peace of mind to know they have seen a fully qualified Solicitor and have put their affairs in order
I love that every day if different in my job, and that what we do really does help our clients and their families, often at very difficult times such as when a family member has died or has been diagnosed with dementia
I am a member of Solicitors for the Elderly and the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners.
I have undertaken training on dementia which has greatly assisted me in understanding the condition and communicating effectively with suffers and their family.
