Morecrofts’ family law solicitor and partner Jo-anne Lomax has been recognised nationally for her pro bono work.
Jo-anne has been named on the Pro Bono Recognition List of England & Wales.
As well as leading the firm’s matrimonial and domestic abuse teams, Jo also specialises in children law, is an accredited member of the well-respected Children Panel and is an accredited Resolution specialist.
She said: “I see it as a responsibility to ensure every body has the access to justice and legal support they require. Although we can’t spend all our time doing this work, carving out space for pro-bono cases is something close to my heart.
“I am incredibly proud to have been recognised on this list, among other colleagues who share my passion.”
The Pro Bono Recognition List of England & Wales recognises barristers and solicitors who have given 25 or more hours pro bono legal assistance in the previous calendar year.
The Lady Chief Justice of England and Wales, the Baroness Carr of Walton-on-the-Hill, is the Patron of the list.
