We raise a glass to charity at annual ladies evening

Almost 100 women attended our annual Morecrofts Ladies Evening at the Liverpool Liver Buildingthis week (May 10), where we raised £200 for charity.

Guest enjoyed cold Prosecco on arrival, as well as great food.

Liverpool crooner Alan Cross entertained and ladies shoppedat a great selection of stalls.

Stalls in attendance were Silverberg Opticians, who showcased new season sunglasses, Beauty& Holistic Lounge who spent the evening giving manicures, Clinique whooffered skin consultations and Liverpool Cheese Company, selling lots of fantastic products.

As well as this, First 4 Hair gave blow dries and hair ups,Pop Up Fashion Boutique sold the latest summer trends, Roxii’s Treasures wereoffering the chance to buy gorgeous handmade cushions and dot-art showed lots of beautiful artwork.

As we traditionally do at this event, we announced our new partner charity for the year, The Merseyside Youth Association. We kicked off the fundraising with a raffle on the night. Prizes were donated by stall holders and included Jimmy Choo sunglasses worth £270.

Morecrofts’ Managing Partner, Alison Lobb, said: “This is myfavourite event we hold. It’s always so nice to see friends and contacts in oneroom, getting to know each other and build their own networks.

“I am delighted that we have announced our new charity, and I very much look forward to working with the Merseyside youth Association this year.”

Each year, Morecrofts’ people nominate and vote for which charity we support.
