Double win at Liverpool Law Society Awards

Solicitor of the Year Aliosn Lobb`Morecrofts walked away from the Liverpool Law Society Awards with two accolades on Friday (15th May).

We won the Private Client award and Managing Partner Alison Lobb was crowned Solicitor of the Year.

Overall the firm were shortlisted in six categories.

Alison Lobb said: “It was fantastic for the firm to be shortlisted in so many categories. The Liverpool Law Society Awards are so highly competitive and we were delighted with the outcome.

“Our Private Client teams are doing so much great work all over Merseyside and to be recognised for it is superb.

“Winning Solicitor of the Year was also such an honour. I’ve had a fantastic first 12 months as Managing Partner of Morecrofts and this just topped it off.

“I am so proud of the entire practice and the hard work every single person puts in to keep the Morecrofts brand and service so strong and consistent.

“A huge congratulations to all the winners on the night. It makes me so proud to be a member of the Liverpool legal profession.

Morecrofts have demonstrated a genuine strength by embracing an holistic and 'people-centred approach' through its elderly care team. They regularly go 'above and beyond' the standard expectations involved in Court of Protection work, by exceeding their individual clients' needs. There is an impressive long-term commitment to developing client relationships and serving clients' interests. There has been an impressive commitment to enhancing the staff base in the elderly care team, which demonstrates a clear strategic, long-term approach to client care and services.

Alison demonstrates outstanding attributes justifying her being Liverpool Law Society's Solicitor of the Year.  She successfully combines her role as Managing Partner at Morecrofts LLP and the challenge of driving the firm forward together with practicing law, obtaining a post graduate Certificate in Legal Practice Management, being Acting Chair of the Citizen's Advice Bureau, taking a lead role in the annual Morecrofts Merseyside Independent Business Awards and even recently completing a major office move into Liverpool's historic Cotton Exchange.
