Biography
Charles is a partner at Morecrofts and heads our employment law team. As well as advising businesses and employees on employment law, Charles specialises in dispute resolution. Charles has particular expertise in negotiating employee severance packages, advising on and drafting compromise agreements, advising businesses on employment issues, negotiating outcomes to disputes and representing clients in the employment tribunals.
Charles has an honours degree in European Legal Studies and qualified as a solicitor in 2002. As well as frequently representing clients in employment tribunals, he also has experience of providing representation in the Employment Appeal Tribunal.
Outside of work, Charles is a keen sports fan and is one of the very few north-west based fans of Dagenham & Redbridge Football Club. He also follows Formula One motor racing very keenly. Besides his sporting interests, he enjoys quizzes, music and is a member of CAMRA. Charles has also written a novel using his pen-name, which was published in late 2010.
