Partnership Agreements

Whilst there is no legal requirement for a partnership to have a written agreement, we feel that it is in practice highly desirable, and we strongly recommend it.

The Partnership Act 1890 governs the use of a partnership as a business model. However, the law has failed to keep pace with modern business dealings. We can explain to you the provisions set out in the Partnership Act 1890 and advise you on drawing up a Partnership Agreement containing terms more suitable for your specific requirements.

If you already have a Partnership Agreement in place, we can provide on-going advice reviewing and updating it to take account of changes in the Partnership, the business environment, or the law.

We understand how worrying legal costs can be so we have a range of payment options available to suit your budget and needs. For many of our services we offer fixed fee packages alongside our traditional fee system and we will help you decide which option is right for you.
